What's going on in my university?

On the morning of June 19th, 2013 AUFE graduation ceremony was held on the East Campus. Party Secretary JIANG Lijun, President DING Zhongming and other officials and directors from different departments and colleges attended the ceremony. Also present were 4600 graduates of this year.

Party Secretary JIANG Lijun delivered an important speech at the ceremony. He pointed out that students came to AUFE four years ago, they draw nutritions on the campus, take roots and grow sturdily. And now they have become talents. We are proud of you!

In his farewell speech, JIANG Lijun put forward three hopes to the students: first of all, they should transcend themselves and constantly pursue the noble and the outstanding; Secondly, they should have the courage to sacrifice and assume responsibilities; and lastly, they should be optimistic, open-minded,and create a happy and confident life for themselves in the future.

ZHENG Jiahuan, on behalf of all the graduates, expressed gratitude to his alma mater. JIANG Zhiming, parent representative of the graduates, thanked Anhui University of Finance and Economics for her intensive cultivation for their children. MIAO Jun represented all the students at school and expressed his deep blessing for his seniors. SONG Malin represented all the faculties and expressed high hopes for all the graduates.

Finally, the administrations presented degree certificates to the granduates and had photos with them.

AUFE Young Teachers Teaching Contest Final was held on the East Campus, a total of 20 players participated in the contest.

Focusing on micro-lecture, lecture presentation and lecture-giving, this competition was a comprehensive evaluation of young teachers’ teaching competence and teaching adaptability.

The final judges of the contest came from a variety of sources, such as the judges from other universities, from AUFETeaching Committee and even from the students. Through this competition, contestants and teachers all reflected that they have learned a lot of methods and technical means of classroom organization, and also learned a lot how to improve the quality of classroom teaching experience, it will further promote the reform of teaching methods and improve the quality of classroom teaching in the future.

After the contest, Vice-president ZHANG Qingliang presented prizes to the winners, and asked them to work with more passion in the future, to summarize their teaching experience to encourage and influence others, and to set a good example to improve the quality of classroom teaching in AUFE.

The List of Prize Winners

CCTV13 reported twice how Anhui University of Finance and Economics prepared the graduates for employment withthe news broadcast “College Students' employment season and the employment service station”.

In the reports, AUFE students and professors introduced how to provide guidance and services to college graduate employment, how to renew their employment ideas, how to acquire employment information, how to utilize job interview, how to dress themselves and other hot issues. These reports have played a great role in promoting AUFE’s reputation and education quality.

Bengbu Cooperative Economic Theory Training Class was opened in the Party School of Bengbu Municipal Party Committee. This trainning class was jointly organized by the Organization Department of Bengbu Municipal Party Committee, the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives of Bengbu city and the Chinese Cooperative Research Institute of Anhui University of Finance and Economics. There were 60 students from local governments of the urban areas and three countries.

On the opening ceremony, Vice-Chairman XU Chao from Bengbu Municipal government emphasized on the special meaning of the class, fully affirmed that AUFE did well in serving local economic and social development. Professor LIU Congjiu, on behalf of AUFE, introduced the basic situation and characteristics of Chinese Cooperative Research Institute. He hoped that all the partcipants would be fully aware of the importantance of cooperation organizations in promoting urban and rural economic development in Bengbu through this training class.

The contents of the course include: status and role of cooperative economic organizations in the beautiful rural construction, rural legal interpretation, reform and development of supply and marketing cooperatives, rural economic development and social management, the agricultural product brand problem, etc.
